Delete your data
You can remove your Pith account and the Instagram data we've stored at any time. Two ways to do it:
From Pith
- Sign in at pith.day/settings.
- Click Disconnect next to your Instagram. This invalidates the access token and removes your IG identifiers from our database.
- To delete your account entirely (drafts, scraped content, email preferences), email noam.sharkany@gmail.com from the address on your account. We complete deletion within 30 days.
From Instagram
You can also revoke Pith's access directly from Instagram: open the Instagram app on your phone → Settings and activity → Apps and websites → Active → tap Pith → Remove. We'll detect the revocation on the next API call and clear the corresponding tokens from our side.
What we store about you
- Instagram handle and user ID
- OAuth access token (encrypted)
- Public posts we've scraped to draft stories
- Drafts we've generated for you
- Approval email address and timezone
