Pith uses Paddle as our payment provider. That means Paddle is the merchant of record on your invoice and handles VAT compliance for us.
Where to manage billing
Inside Pith: Settings → Billing. You'll see:
- Current plan and renewal date
- Past invoices (downloadable PDF)
- Payment method
- "Change plan" and "Cancel" buttons
Changing plans
Upgrades take effect immediately and are pro-rated for the rest of the current cycle. Downgrades take effect at the next renewal — you keep everything you're paying for until then.
Cancelling
Hit Cancel in Settings → Billing. Pith stays active until the end of the period you've already paid for; nothing is cut off mid-cycle. Your drafts and brand voice profile stay in the account for 30 days in case you come back.
Refunds
We offer a 14-day money-back window on first-time subscriptions, no questions asked. Email hello@pith.day from the email on your account and we'll process it.
After 14 days, refunds are handled case by case — see the refund policy for details.
VAT and invoices
Invoices include the tax appropriate for your country (Paddle handles this automatically). If you need a business VAT number on the invoice, add it under Settings → Billing → Tax details before your next renewal.
"I was charged but I cancelled"
If you cancelled mid-cycle and weren't supposed to be charged, email us — we'll check the timeline and sort it. Paddle's records are the source of truth.
